昨日、M様から、オーストラリアへの留学のお申し込みを頂きました。

プラスアルファー留学のひとつに、ボランティアがあります。
お客様Mさんの要望は、オーストラリアでの環境保全に関する
ボランティアがやりたい！という要望でした。

今回、短期間なので、事前に手配した方がいいと思い、色々と
探したところ…

Conservation Volunteers Australia

上記のボランティア団体が活動している内容がお客様の要望に
合いそうなので、そちらをご案内することに。。。

各州で色々なプロジェクトを行っているようです。
下記が協力してくださった語学学校スタッフの方からの情報です。
植林活動に現在、興味をもっておられるので、もっと詳しい情報
を取り寄せ中です。

Project Details:
Location: Wheeler Creek, NSW
Description: Wheeler Creek is one of Sydney`s hidden bush land gems! This special area protects part of the catchment of Narrabeen Lagoon and is under a voluntary conservation agreement, managed by the National Parks Association. The area contains Aboriginal engravings and is home to rare species such as the Powerful Owl. Help us to retain the wonderful diversity and health of this area by participating in important bush regeneration activities.

Dates: 29 August 2009

Notes: Conservation projects which do not include an overnight stay are free - simply bring your lunch and water bottle.

Project Details:

Location: Nature Saturdays - Blue Mountains World Heritage, NSW
Description: The Blue Mountains offer spectacular scenery, plantlife and wildlife. The mountains reach a height of 1100 m, and have been given their name due to the blue haze that hovered above the mountains produced by the oil from the plentiful Eucalyptus trees.
Dates: 5 September 2009

ちなみに、こちらのボランティア団体の登録料がかかるみたいです。
２つボランティア参加の場合、placement feeは＄２５０、１つであれば＄２００です。
